Disclosure Policy
My blog is not financially driven and has been created to share personal writings, artwork, and life documentation. I (“Fawnina”) am the sole author and contributor. At the time of updating this policy (June 10, 2019), product compensation has been received for sponsored content present on this website, and Google Adsense has been activated to generate ad revenue to support web maintenance costs.
As of December 1, 2009, the FTC requires blog administrators to disclose hidden interests and unspoken biases in relation to recommendations and/or endorsements. Should this become relevant to any future content, the following practices are in place:
- To generate future income that will be used to support the costs of site maintenance, this blog will accept forms of cash advertising, sponsorship, paid insertions, or other venues of compensation.
- This blog follows word-of-mouth standards. Even though compensation may be received, it will never determine my opinions. I believe in honesty of relationship and identity; should content, ads, or postings be compensated in any way, I will be sure to let you know and clearly state any biases if they are present. I only endorse products, services, and companies that I personally use and support.
- For sponsors: compensation does not guarantee a positive review. I have deeply-devoted brand loyalty to companies whose products and practices reflect my own personal values.
- The views and opinions on this blog are mine and mine alone. Any claim, statistic, quote, or other information about a product/service should be verified with the legal owners of said product/service.
- Affiliate links may be included in posts but not always noted in every reference, particularly if the relationship becomes “common knowledge” to readers of the blog.
If you have any questions about this disclosure policy or any endorsements, reviews, or other opinions shared on this blog, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with me at fawninacostuming {at} gmail {dot} com. I’m committed to ensuring that my content is the best it can be for my readers. If I choose to accept compensation for any form of content, it is in order to generate profit that compensates me for the time, financial costs, necessary research, and intellectual property I devote to the process of maintaining this website so that the content can be free for all of you to enjoy!

Comment Policy
Kindness is not inherent in today’s world, but I request that it be present in this little corner of the universe. Should you choose to participate in a discussion on this blog, I advise that you ask yourself the following three questions prior to commenting:
- Does this comment contribute to the conversation?
- If this comment is a critique, do I offer a solution?
- How would I feel upon receiving this comment from someone else?
The best instances of progress occur when multiple people share their differing perspectives. It’s okay to disagree, but please do so respectfully! Make sure the discussion is productive, and that your opinions and ideas are being shared with respect to others who may not relate to your same life experiences. Everyone’s journey is different, and that’s something to be celebrated!
