Summoner Yuna
Making my Summoner Yuna costume was both ridiculously fun and ridiculously stressful, as I tackled it when I was still just beginning to learn how to sew. It taught me a lot of new techniques, such as gradient dyeing (which I’m obsessed with to this day), pleating, and gradient painting (for the obi).
It was also one of the first opportunities in which I was able to use my jewelry-making skills for a costume! All of the jewelry on this costume was hand-made, save for the bracelets.
The flower patterns on both the skirt and obi were hand-painted, which took over 30 hours.
