Kate Bishop
When asked who my favorite Avenger is, I always answer with Hawkeye – but I’m not talking about Clint! Kate Bishop is, by far, my favorite superhero. She’s suffered so much in her life but she retains such a strong sense of justice and morality (as well as a strong sense of sarcasm, too). I’ve always looked up to her, so being able to cosplay her was quite the honor!
To achieve Kate’s windblown hairline and massive wavy volume, I used a Matilda from Arda Wigs in Black.
I used peachskin for her scarf, grey upholstery vinyl for her accessory pouches and belt, and jumbo spandex for her outfit.
I made the quiver by covering a mailing tube in black upholstery vinyl. I created a variety of trick arrows to go along with my Kate cosplay using dowel rods, Model Magic, craft foam, and wooden thingamabobs. The etching for my arrows were made from purple craft foam and hot glued to the shafts.
